A solitary 5p is worth very little, yes, but if you're buying bread, milk, eggs, flour, basic ingredients and meals for your family each week, and they have all gone up by 2-3p each, I'd imagine it would affect those who are struggling. Maybe I'm wrong - I just thought it was logical that it would be the case.
