There's one National Express coach a day in each direction, but the times don't work.

If you really want to avoid Banbury, then train it to Milton Keynes (typically 16 minutes), walk to the Central Milton Keynes Santander House Bus Stop W3 (7 minutes) and catch the hourly X91 to Brackley, which takes over an hour.

An end to end journey, arriving in Brackley at 2:00pm (no accounting for delays!):

Rail
d: 12:05 Northampton
a: 12:21 Milton Keynes Central
----
7 minute walk from train station to bus stop
----
X91
d: 12:43 Central Milton Keynes Santander House (Stop W4)
a: 13:53 Churchill Way, a 4 minute walk from the ground.
a: 13:57 Brackley Town FC
----------------------------

The nearest bus stop in Brackley for the X91 return journey is Southfield Primary School (d: 17:52).

There is a much faster journey back to Milton Keynes that leaves at 17:09, but it includes a dodgy 5 minute connection in Towcester onto another operator's last bus of the night.

----------------------------

Yikes!
