About to take either a 9 or 12 point penalty for failing to submit audited accounts

I know its funny because its Wycombe but they should be spewing about getting relegated while Derby survived havng assured the league they would comply when they have chosen not to once the season start

Sad affairs of once great club.

Hopefully they will bounce back.

They are habitual cheats. I almost feel sorry for Wycombe who went down at their expense.

Copied from the Luton forum:

Surely, it would be 12 (plus extra (7?) as it would be the second time) for going into admin plus 9 for the existing offences. Not sure if any suspended points for those would also kick in if they go into admin. Potentially a total of 31 points assuming that the penalty for the existing offences is 9 plus 3 suspended and the extra for a second administration is 7.

They should do 16 this season then 15 next season so they end up in L2.

Agreed.

Notice how Derby fans have stopped all their crowing about Mel Morris having the EFL on strings. Ho ho ho!

Will believe it when I see it. They should still be 15+ points down from last season.

They've cheated to avoid certain relegation, and the punishment is a points deduction which doesn't even mean it's certain they'll be relegated. It's like being caught not buying a train ticket and being punished by having to buy a ticket at half price.

IMO they should view Derby as having one relegation "in the bag" so to speak. This season , with -12pts, if they get relegated they go to L2, otherwise they go to L1.

I'm sick of teams cheating, and the punishment for being caught is to lose 1/2 of what they gained from their cheating.

Yep. You should work for the EFL

Give it another 6 games and Jim Parmenter will give the NL board a problem when he pulls Dover out

They had Reda Johnson (he of the shiny sequined trainers and the 2.5k a week pay packet a few years ago) doing the standing and shouting in the dug out. At the ref mostly last night.

Must be a Derby thing.

In every post-match interview it was the fault of the referee according to Potato Head.
