Football Family Help Needed

Hope the admins don't mind me posting this.
I have started a campaign to try and save CSCA Kyiv, the football club of the Ukrainian Army.
You can read all about it and donate (if you want) here:

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE

So, the total has slowed down considerably and we're now at £1,085 which I think is still pretty good although I haven't been pushing it much recently due to various circumstances.
If you would like to help please donate to the link below, many thanks for being jolly good chaps/chapesses.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE

First of all, thanks to everyone who has donated so far, that's top class cheers. Inevitably in these straitened times, fundraising has stalled a little bit over the last 24 hours, although I am waiting for quite a few pledges to come in.
So, if you have a bit of charity cash in your pocket that can give the total a bit of a boost, I am still looking for donations however small (or large).

I've bunged you a small but perfectly formed sum.
As I have to another cause involving in the fight against oppression - that of Steve Bray on Fundrazr. I won't post a link as this will open me up to accusations of exploiting a pinned thread. 🤣

Many thanks for your donation, it is genuinely appreciated!
ANOTHER UPDATE

We're now up to £755 after 2 days which is a decent effort I reckon.
However, there is still a long way to go so any further donations from the football community would be very gratefully received.

Any second now, that total will be £5 higher, as, you've guessed it, Shanghai has dipped deep into his sofa and donated the amount Uptheshots' cleaner gets p/h after her £1.50 an hour raise.

UPDATE

£555 raised in a day, thanks to everyone who has donated.
Thanks also to the admins for pinning the thread.
Long way to go but am optimistic about saving this club.
Today the stadium in Mykolayiv was damaged by Russian missiles, another 'Nazi military target'.

Before I donate can I ask a few questions about their political alignments?
1. Do they change their logo on their website to the PRIDE colours during pride month?
2. What do they do to attract minority participation in the local community? I can't help but notice that the team is all white, which worries me.
3. Do they have a woman's team?
4. Do they take the knee in solidarity with BLM?
5. Are there any checks and balances in place to ensure donated money is not dirty money from sports washing regimes in Saudi Arabia, Russia and Qatar for example?
6. Is the food served at home games responsible sourced?
7. Are kits made from recycled polyester?
8. Is the team committed to only changing their kits every 2 years to reduce resource wastage.
9. Are they signed up for the Twenty's Plenty campaign?
10. Are stadium workers paid the national living wage?
thank you.

No

One of the club's biggest legends is Mamady Sangare from Senegal.
3. Do they have a woman's team?
No
4. Do they take the knee in solidarity with BLM?
They don't take the knee
5. Are there any checks and balances in place to ensure donated money is not dirty money from sports washing regimes in Saudi Arabia, Russia and Qatar for example?
Yes, because I am in charge and I am mega trustworthy.
6. Is the food served at home games responsible sourced?
No food
7. Are kits made from recycled polyester?
No
8. Is the team committed to only changing their kits every 2 years to reduce resource wastage.
Same kit for the last 3 years.
9. Are they signed up for the Twenty's Plenty campaign?
Games are free, so no need
10. Are stadium workers paid the national living wage?
Yes

A black player isn’t the same as minority participation in the club.
After all slave owners had black people working for them.

That all sounds totally aligned with my own views. I'll dip once I get paid later today/tomorrow.

Are the Ukrainian army not a bit too busy to be playing football, m8?
Any chance of flogging some replica shirts? Seems to be a trend amongst the youngsters THESE DAYS to buy random shirts.

What's Ukrainian Russian for keyring?
Re: Football Family Help Needed

Aye, replica shirts and get a brewery to make a beer which tastes like Raspberry Jelly Triffle.
Re: Football Family Help Needed

Well, that's precisely why we need to keep it going so that there is something to come back to.
They have enough juniors to keep it going.
No replica shirts or merch, it's too small a club.

Could you get some made, if they let you use the design?
Or ask someone like classicshirts to market them?
Just an idea, i’ll bung some coppers in the pot in the meantime.

Much appreciated.
I am sure loads of ideas will be forthcoming, especially over the winter months when they don't need funding,
but I think they are pretty desperate at this point.
