I think we're all on the same page that Israel are utter c**ts right? Putting Gaza under siege, cutting off the water supply, bombing civilian residential blocks and schools and inflicting even more misery on Gaza is all fucking grim. But, its all part of their usual response and, so I say again, that the actions of Hamas just made no strategic sense as whatever they dished out was gonna come back at them far worse because of how dispicable the Israeli government are.

I don't think they're utter EVANS, I just think given the history of why Israel was set up they don't have much of a sense of humour over attempts to take the country off the map
The Palestinians are also left hanging by the other Arab countries as they're seen as a useful tool to go "oh look a squirrel" when domestic politics go bad i.e. Iran right now, who funnily enough don't see the same need of statehood for the Kurds
Would you be surprised to know I've worked with a number of Arabs, one a refugee from Syria, some Saudi, some Iraqi and they have surprisingly little sympathy for the Palestinians? They're pretty much seen in the same way gypsies are in Europe. Noone wants them not even as temporary visa workers like the Indians/Pakistanis. So when it's Israel is horrible to the Palestinians, it's really the whole middle east aren't much better to them.
