But, you can comdemn Hamas without that being an expression of support for Israel. You can express sympathy for Israeli victims without that being support for Israel. You can also condemn Hamas and still be in support of the Palestinian cause and have sympathy for their people.
The methods used here by Hamas were appalling for two reasons. One, it targetted civilians indiscriminatly and the attacks seemed to have no clear strategic objective. It was just murder for murder's sake and the definition of terrorism. Secondly, it has now unleased hell on the people they claim to represent. One of the worlds most longest suffering people will suffer even more. It's just so sad.
