On your second point. You and Balders told us this deliberate manipulation of the labour market would result in higher wages and previously unemployed people returning to work, hence meaning we would need less immigration. Apparently, this hasn't happened, we have an immigration problem and companies are left spending thousands seeking employees from Africa rather than having an 'on tap' flow from the EU. Quite a mess. All we can hope is that trade continues to go badly and we don't need employees.

You seem to have assumed that immigration was the only reason to want to leave, rather than just one of the reasons why the EU is a bad thing to be a member of.
Its an improvement that companies have to prove they need the workers before dragging them in.

I don't think it was the only reason. You have constantly said you didn't want closer political ties but quickly move on or claim something nonsensical when I point out Cameron's deal had achieved that. Some people thought the NHS was getting wealthy (lol). Some people thought we would get a brilliant deal (lol).  Some people thought we were going to be Singapore on Thames (lol). Some people believed we would do all these great deals (lol). They have all proved to be nonsense. However, immigration is a huge reason for the vote to leave. Please deny it, so you can look truly ridiculous.

I don't think companies find spending money recruiting in Africa an advantage. I don't think exporting companies find the trade barriers an good thing.

Today they were blathering about the need for exporters to the EU to have someone in the EU guaranteeing the safety of their product. The expert on the radio said it was £150 per product. OK if you sell millions of the same thing. A death knell for small export firms with multi lines.

You can keep skipping about but Johnson said you could only get lower immigration by leaving the EU. We sacked off a good trade deal to end up with higher immigration. George Osborne predicted this in 2016. Johnson was just blistering, as usual and you believed it

So now you have solid proof that things were going to be put into treaties...the things you claimed you wanted but were not getting - you've now fallen back on an argument that the EU were lying and deceitful. These are words and phrases that have been fed to you by the same people that told you the EU was banning rocking horses and bendy Bananas. The same people that promised you lower immigration, brilliant trade deals, a super deal with the EU, better democracy etc etc etc. Yet, here you are telling me that the Tory government got thrown out because it didn't lower immigration while simultaneously telling me that they didn't have chance to effect their plans? It was just pleasantries - unworkable in practice. It would also rely on our governments using the veto and the evidence is that the establishment was/is completely out of step with the population on European integration.
The Tory government got thrown out. The ones you accuse of lying had only been in power for a part of that Tory period, certainly not the end, and whilst Boris was in charge the Chinese Flu changing the world kind of grabbed the attention.
