Imagine the kind of people you must be to fire Hypersonic missiles at the centre of a capital city on a busy Monday morning. Missiles which only take 4 minutes to arrive so nobody has time to take cover.

Mildly terrifying but my windows didn't break.

Cheers, it was a bit lively but got away with it. They don't fire Hypersonics very often as they don't have many, so usually I have about 40 minutes to get sorted and make it to safety. The only battle is to get out of bed at 4am and not to say 'f**I it' and risk it.

Nothing a well-made Anderson shelter shouldn't take care of. I'd like to see a hypersonic take on an inch of solid sheet metal.

Sadly the boomers have converted all the Anderson shelters into chic Airbnbs so we're all basically dead if it happens over here again.

Edit: oh, they appear to be rented accommodation rather than Airbnbs. So it's not as bad as I feared!

I'm somewhat surprised that your post has been up for 3 hours now and none of our the forum's resident xenophobes has pointed out that it was the German military that were known as sausage munchers.

But I've got to ask myself whether you've inaccurately characterised the dietary habits of British troops, or you're just being homophobic.
