He’s a remarkably athletic chap isn’t he! Surprising how much more athletic than the rest…..
I’ve driven over the Bonette. It’s ludicrously high for a road with enormous views, and the lack of barriers and huge drop offs are quite alarming in a car, let alone hammering down hill on a bike (wish they would concentrate the cameras more on the descents). It’s mad that they had soldiers serving up there in the little maginot line before the war.

The fans are really quite annoying. It should be compulsory for spectators to clothesline anyone running alongside, and any dumb twat letting off smoke or a flare should be literally thrown off the mountain.
