Rise in minimum wage and a rise in NI employer contributions is a double tax on jobs. Thousands upon thousands will be laid off in the coming months, wages will stagnate. Growth slows. Recession. Death.

My view is if you have a business that can’t survive without paying staff less than they can reasonably be expected to live on then it’s not really a viable business anyway is it?
