Well, this is a turn up for the books, but it'll hardly be mentioned on MSM as Gregg Wallace is not involved.
This afternoon, MPs voted 138 to 136 to allow the Elections (PR) Bill to be introduced to the House
This proposal put forward by Lib Dem's Sarah Olney, via the ten-minute rule motion process. Many such proposals do not progress further, and this is very much the first stage, but it is still a significant win.
Bit of a shock for Sir Keith, but North Yorkshire's answer to Barry Bucknell (Google is your friend) must be creaming himself.
